Worked all my life
Now retired after 22 years at Boeing
Always had a goal to do woodworking upon retirement
Enjoy camping, electronics (check the roof out) and now back learning from others in particular woodworking skills.
I dont have a workshop as such, just a few tools inside the home garage.
All my work is done in the driveway and on an outside work bench.
All the equipment I have is mobile, meaning it either has a rolling frame attached or I have put wheels on it, so I can roll it outside onto the drive way and around the garage.
Then at the end of the day (or if it rains) everything is packed back up and stored round the car.

I was reading a post by Partickhosey showing a joint he made and the associated comments regarding its strength and durability. The joint looked like one I could try, if only to work out how to make it. I started off with some rubbish timber...
I was polishing some wood this week and though I should post the results for other LJs that may find the activity and results something they may want to try out. The timber is recycled Jarrah Riddled with nails screws and bolts. This imag...
