I've made furniture, cabinets and things all my life. Now I'm more interested in luthiery and playing music.

Although I've made a fair few electric double basses, electric fiddles and 11 acoustic instruments ( inc. the double bass in my avatar ), here I'll mainly post furniture of my design.

Machinery, hand power tools and hand tools are all the same for me...just tools, some have much more charm than others, but in the end, just a means to my ends.

Uh oh. I’m already salivating over that Viola.

Haven’t even heard a note from it but from what I see, it sounds like a dream… If your in Texas, I hope it’s close to DFW. I need to hear one of your instruments.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks fellas,
Mark, this is a sound file. Sorry about the recording and the playing. I had just figured that song out, I can play it better now. ” Pinball Machines ” Lonnie Irving. I’m tuned CGCG. I heard a vocal and clawhammer cover of
” Pinball Machine ” on the radio and my arm hair stood up! I couldn’t find the cover artist but I did find Lonnie.
