My signature is my mantra, imparted to me by my Grandfather to whom I owe my love of woodworking.
He was a hard working man of German descent. He was not one to repeat himself and so when he spoke, you best take to heart what was said.
Being a patient man he taught, if you were willing to learn, and he was an advocate of doing it right the first time.
With a well thought out and drawn out set of plans, there was very little waste.
With this in mind and your best effort put forth he would remind you that, "Mother Nature should be proud of what you've done with her tree" - don't let her down.

Thanks for the Welcome.
I discovered the site about a month ago and have been enjoying the project posts, tips & tricks and everyone’s blogs.
Y’all are a comfortable fit for a void in my passion for rearrangement of the woodgrain in a tree.
The sawdust in my veins came from my Grandfathers on both sides of my family.
You are a Welcome addition to the ever growing small world in which we live.
Looking forward to a long association.

Len, Thank you for the compliments, and for sharing some of your experience. My father instilled in me a love of art, and maybe a little skill. He was a hard worker all his life and did not have much time for a shop or studio to work in, but I have included him in my shop for guidance.

These are all Family and friends who have made a real impact on my life, and I wanted to honor them in some way. My wife came up with this idea.

-- Im so impressed with what people can do, and I wonder how they do it. Thats what keeps me doing it.
