I am a retired Sheetmetal worker. I now make and sell wooden items at craft fairs. Lots of small boxes and toys, along with some trunks and wooden vases I have made.
I started my wood working by trying relief carving and looking for things to carve on. I no longer do much carving.
Some of the first projects I made were functioning fireplace bellows with decrotive fronts. I also made them with inlayed, tooled, leather fronts.
